What can you do in Indianapolis?
• Use the skywalks. Skywalks link two-thirds of
the Indianapolis downtown’s 6,000-plus hotel rooms to
the Indiana Convention Center, as well as Circle
Centre mall, a four-story shopping, dining and
entertainment megaplex.
• See a show. "Wicked," the Broadway blockbuster,
will be at Indianapolis' Murat Centre during the
CONSTRUCT2009 & The CSI Annual Convention.
• See a mummy. The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
is the largest children's museum in the
world, with more than 400,000-square-feet
housing eleven major galleries that explore the
physical and natural sciences, history, world
cultures and the arts. The Museum will host
"Tutankhamun -- The Golden King and the Great
Pharoes" exhibit during the CONSTRUCT2009 & The
CSI Annual Convention.
• The Indianapolis Artsgarden, connected to Circle
Centre mall and suspended over a busy downtown
intersection, is a venue for a variety of free
performing arts productions. Credit: Indianapolis

• See the cars. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is
home to the Indy Racing League’s Indianapolis 500, as
well as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Allstate 400 at the
Brickyard. You could visit the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway Hall of Fame Museum.
• Catch up on your sports history. The National
Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) – the most
well-known amateur athletic association in the
country – moved its headquarters to Indianapolis in
1999. Adjacent to the headquarters is the NCAA Hall
of Champions museum that opened in 2000.
